OPENING RECEPTION:
December 4th at 7pm
AKA MEMBERS EXHIBITION
AKA Gallery is calling on all current (and soon to be confirmed) members to participate in an annual members show scheduled to open this year on December 4th. This is an opportunity for all of our members to meet together, see what we’ve been doing in the studio and share our experiences.
We’re currently seeking submissions and input from all of our members to make this event a success. Please forward an image file of the work you would like to include in the show along with a title, dimensions and details on the medium and indicate whether or not you would be willing to sell the work. We will not be functioning as a commercial gallery or collecting commissions or facilitating any transactions but if you would like to negotiate sale of your work with an interested party, we would be happy to accept a portion of the proceeds as a donation to support gallery operations. Members are not obligated to make a donation but this sort of support makes our continued operations possible AND we will issue tax receipts!
We need the work and all required installation hardware and/or instructions delivered to the gallery no later than Wednesday, December 2nd. Our qualified staff will be on hand for the week leading up to the reception on the 4th to help with installation. We will be seeking volunteers to help with the reception.
